MohawkSmoke is a Mohawk family-owned shop selling native cigarettes and tobacco across Canada. Every carton is 200 king size cigarettes — ten packs of twenty — shipped discreetly with tracking, and most orders arrive within one to three days.
Most cartons start at $42 and drop to $31.50 at volume. A comparable carton in a Canadian convenience store runs $110 to $160, because roughly $75 of that is federal excise duty and provincial tobacco tax before anyone has paid for the tobacco itself.
Cigarettes — Canadian, Canadian Classics, BB, DK’s, Rolled Gold, Playfare’s, Nexus, Elite and more, in full flavour, light, ultra light, menthol and slim. Not sure which to pick? Our guide to native cigarette brands compares every brand by strength.
Rollies — bags of 200 pre-rolled cigarettes from $27, our cheapest option per cigarette.
Cigars — Cuban and premium brands including Montecristo, Partagás, Romeo y Julieta and Cohiba.
Cigarillos, nicotine pouches and vapes — Zyn, Velo, Killa, White Fox and Pablo Exclusive.
The more you buy, the less each carton costs. Discounts apply automatically at checkout and you can mix brands to reach a tier.

Retail cigarette prices vary widely by province because each one sets its own tobacco tax on top of federal excise duty.
| Province | Provincial tobacco tax per carton |
|---|---|
| Ontario | $36.95 |
| British Columbia | $65.00 |
| Alberta | approx. $40 |
| Quebec | lowest in Canada |
Federal excise duty adds a further $38.92 per carton nationwide, and it rises every 1 April with inflation.

Native cigarettes are made at First Nations facilities and sold under Indigenous tobacco rights. They aren’t subject to the same provincial tobacco tax structure, which is the whole reason for the price difference.
It isn’t lower-quality tobacco. It’s the absence of $37 to $65 per carton in provincial tax, plus a supply chain that skips national distribution and retail markup entirely.
Ours start at $42 and drop to $31.50 at volume. Retail cartons in Canada typically run $110 to $160 depending on brand and province.

If you’re switching from a mass-market brand, the manufacturer recommends starting with Putter’s Light or Playfare’s Light — both are gentle on the draw.
