PEI is the only province with a 21+ tobacco law
In 2020 Prince Edward Island raised the legal purchase age for tobacco and vaping products from 19 to 21 — the first and still the only Canadian province to do so.
Everywhere else in Canada the age is 19, except Alberta, Manitoba, Quebec and Saskatchewan, where it’s 18.
PEI also restricts vaping products to tobacco flavour only.
